Our Story
It Started With a Prom.
Huntsville, Alabama • 2009
Timeless Homeschool Events began in Huntsville in 2009 for a simple reason: our homeschool community needed a prom.
We believed then, and still believe today, that homeschool students deserve the same chance to experience the celebrations, traditions, and special moments that are such a memorable part of growing up. Traditional schools already have a structure for bringing students together for these special occasions.
Homeschool families often have to create that structure for themselves.
So that's exactly what our community did.
Parents volunteered. Families pitched in. Local businesses and community partners helped. Together, we created a place where homeschool students could come together, celebrate, form friendships, and enjoy experiences created especially for them.
What started with a prom became something much bigger.
More than 17 years later, we're still creating the celebrations and traditions our homeschool community came together to build.
From Cullman to Central Alabama
We Found a Home in Cullman
When Timeless first brought events to Cullman, the idea was simple: offer homeschool families in the area some of the same milestone events and social experiences we had been creating in Huntsville.
Cullman already had a strong homeschool community, and we were grateful to become a small part of it. Families welcomed our events, volunteered, brought their teens, told their friends, and helped Timeless find its own place within the community.
Then something began to grow.
Families started coming from beyond Cullman, from nearby cities, small towns, rural communities, and neighboring counties. Parents told other parents. Teens brought friends. Little by little, our Cullman events began reaching a much wider community.
That growth helped shape what is now becoming Timeless Central Alabama.
It also reminded us of something that has been true from the beginning:
Homeschool community does not stop at a county line.
So we are opening the doors wider.
Timeless Cullman is becoming
Timeless Central Alabama.
This change is not about leaving Cullman behind. Cullman is where this chapter began, and it will always be an important part of our story.
It is simply about recognizing the community that has naturally grown around our events and welcoming more families into it.
Cullman is where this chapter began. Central Alabama is where it is growing.
We are simply making the table bigger.
Upcoming Events
A New Focus for Timeless Central Alabama
As Timeless Central Alabama continues to grow, we're becoming more intentional about how we plan our year.
After several years of hosting monthly teen events, we've decided to step away from the monthly schedule. Simply put, we don't want to stretch our team or our wonderful volunteers too thin.
If you've been to a Timeless event, you know we have a hard time doing anything small. 😂 We love the themes, the details, the decorations, and creating an atmosphere that lets our teens step into a completely different world for a few hours. As much as we love doing it, bringing those ideas to life month after month can be a pretty daunting task!
So rather than trying to do everything, we're giving ourselves more time between events and focusing on a handful of boutique, highly themed pop-up experiences throughout the year.
And thankfully, there are some great groups and spaces throughout the area offering regular monthly meetups and activities where homeschool teens can connect in between.
You won't see Timeless popping up every month, but we're still here. We already have a few ideas for future events that we're keeping under wraps for now. 😉
A Little Different This Year. A Lot to Look Forward To.
You may notice that our Central Alabama calendar looks a little different this school year.
As Timeless continues to grow, we're becoming more intentional about where we put our time, resources, and creativity. This year, our Central Alabama families will have opportunities to join us for both local specialty events and some of our larger Timeless celebrations.
Our annual Christmas Progressive Dinner will return to Cullman this December with a fun new twist, and Prom 2027 is already in the works!
More details will be announced as we get closer.
And while we're busy planning this year's events, we're also looking ahead.

Fall Dance: Tropical Glow
Our homeschool homecoming dance has been a Timeless tradition since 2012 and is one of our most popular events of the year. This year, we're keeping the glow but changing the vibe. Get ready for Tropical Glow, where Miami South Beach meets Caribbean island nights with a splash of Cuban flair.

Yule Ball
Now in its third year, our Yule Ball is a highly themed Christmas celebration that brings the Wizarding World to life, complete with Hogsmeade, Butterbeer, Honeydukes, Leaky Cauldron-inspired food, and plenty of magical surprises.

Tinsel, Trouble & Tacky Sweaters
Our Christmas Progressive Dinner is returning to Cullman for its third year, and this beloved Timeless tradition is completely free of charge. Timeless provides the full main course, along with appetizers and desserts, while families help make the table even bigger by bringing an appetizer or dessert to share.
This year, we're adding a mischievous twist! Tinsel, Trouble & Tacky Sweaters turns our Christmas Progressive Dinner into a festive murder mystery filled with great food, laughter, clues, and a little holiday mayhem.

Wonderland Spring Formal
Our Spring Formal is a brand-new Timeless event coming to the Ingalls Harbor area in Decatur for homeschool students ages 14–16. The Spring Formal is designed especially for teens who may not feel quite ready for prom yet, or who simply deserve a celebration of their own.
This is your chance to dress up, make memories, and celebrate everything you accomplished this school year. Spring celebrations shouldn't only be about the seniors.

Timeless Central Alabama Prom
Our biggest and most elegant celebration of the year, Prom is where Timeless truly goes all out.
Every year brings a completely new experience, with an original theme, immersive décor, beautiful spaces, and all the details that have made Prom a Timeless tradition since 2009.
Plans for Prom 2027 are already underway.

Middle School, We Haven’t Forgotten About You! 💛
We LOVE hosting events for our middle schoolers. The only problem?
There are a whole lot of y’all and only a few of us! 😂
We have so many ideas for this age group and would love to bring more middle school events to Central Alabama. We don’t want to offer just one here and there. We want to create events families can count on throughout the year.
To make that happen, we need to build a Middle School Committee.
We’re looking for a small group of moms who would like to help us plan, organize, and bring these events to life. Our goal is to build a dependable team specifically for our middle school community so that we can offer events consistently, year after year.

Who Makes Timeless Central Alabama Happen?
Timeless Central Alabama is a regional program of Timeless Homeschool Events, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in Huntsville in 2009 and governed by one Board of Directors based in Huntsville. Our Leadership Team, Event Hosts, committees, and volunteers work together under the organization’s oversight to bring Central Alabama events to life.

Timeless Homeschool Events exists to provide thoughtfully curated social experiences that enrich the homeschool journey. Through elegant gatherings, immersive events, and intentional community building, we create spaces where students can celebrate milestones, build friendships, and make lasting memories.
Our goal is to create meaningful, memorable experiences where homeschool students can gather, connect, and belong.

Leadership Team
Jaime R. -Elementary teacher, neurodivergent and special needs educator, and caregiver, Jaime has been part of Timeless Homeschool Events since 2012. She serves as Volunteer Coordinator, Committee Chair, and Event Host, helping organize volunteers, coordinate event planning.
Jenna M. -Montessori teacher, homeschooling grandmother, and local business owner, Jenna has been part of Timeless Homeschool Events since 2023. She serves as Office Coordinator, helping keep the organizational details behind Timeless events running smoothly.
Tami A. - Homeschool mom and longtime member of Timeless Homeschool Events, Tamara has been part of the Timeless community since 2012. She serves as Creative Director and Event Host, helping bring Timeless events and experiences to life.
Our Leadership Team serves as the creative and organizational team behind Timeless events. We develop event concepts, create themes and experiences, coordinate planning, oversee event operations, and work with our volunteers and Event Hosts to turn ideas into memorable experiences for homeschool youth.
It Takes a Community
Behind every Timeless event is a team of people willing to share their time, talents, ideas, and creativity.
Our Event Hosts, Leadership Committee members, parent chaperones, and event volunteers help us welcome families, decorate, organize, supervise, problem-solve, and handle all the little details that make an event come together.
